Chevy Camaro Key Not Working

When you push the key in and pull it out the door swings open and close. If the transmitter battery is weak or if there is interference with the signal the DIC may display NO REMOTE DETECTED or NO REMOTE KEY WAS DETECTED PLACE KEY IN TRANSMITTER POCKET THEN START YOUR VEHICLE. Fuse 17 located on the left-hand LH drivers side of the instrument panel.

TURN the flip key to the OFFLOCK position and REMOVE it. TURN Ignition from OFF to RUN 3 times within 5 seconds ending in the RUN position. WITHIN 5 seconds INSERT the NEW flip key into the Ignition and TURN to the ONRUN position.
There is no need to pull the fuse for this. It was sticking intermittently and causing the remotes to work sporadically. INSERT a working flip key into the Ignition and TURN to the ONRUN position just shy of cranking engine.
